The two 19th Century land/householder surveys mentioned in your introduction are:
A) Tithe Applotment c.1820
B) Griffith's Valuation c. 1850
The Tithe Applotment for the Kinnity parish does not exist.
The second
survey, the Griffith's Valuation, values all houses and land for a property
tax known as a "Rate". In these records I located your ancestor James
O'Carroll occupying 15 acres of land, details as follows:
